IKEA is a Swedish international company, that fabricates and sells a broad range of home furnishing and decorations, which can be self-assembled by the customer and is much more affordable than other brands in the market. IKEA has been one of the world's largest furniture retailer since at least 2008. Their brand uses concepts that combines function, quality, value, design, and sustainability.

TREATMENT
The idea for this project is to showcase the instructions for the IKEA experience, from the moment you walk into the store to the moment of your checkout, showing the customer how easy and efficient IKEA makes furniture shopping.
The concept will capture the experience through IKEA's typical manual illustrations handed with the purchased assembly products. The tone of the story will be funny, contrasting the 2D, line art character with the 3D line environment and furniture.
The video will emulate a how-to-style video. The typeface will be a san-serif, mirroring the font used in the instructions. And the approach will be black and white line art with 2D and 3D elements.

Since I would be working with IKEA's character so close for this project, I have decided it would be appropiate to name it, so I went with the name "IKE", since it seems fitting.
The idea of using IKE as more than an illustration in their manuals and more of the brand image could help unify their brand; making it more playful and recognizable.
