CONCEPT
GLITCH IN THE MATRIX
VICELAND, is a network owned by Vice Media and A&E Networks. It was launched in February 2016. Their targeted demographic are millenials. Their demographic's median age of 49-years-old and 61% of the viewers are male. Featured programs include: Balls Deep, F*ck That's Delicious, Gaycation, Noisey, and Weediquette.
This concept is meant to make the viewer feel like they just stumbled across a glitch in their TV. It uses glitch effects with their programming clips to support audio clips from VICELAND's open voicemails to promote the network.
